I’m Lorraine—but everyone calls me Lala. I’m the recipe creator, cocktail shaker, cook, and food photographer behind Cabin Cravings.
I’ve always had a passion for feeding my crew—especially with recipes that bring everyone to the table and make them linger a little longer.
I crave connection, fresh air, and a good meal. Put those three together, and you get one happy Lala.
My husband Jeff & I are recent empty nesters, navigating this new season with plenty of laughs (and fewer laundry piles). While we miss our two man-babies—one in college, one out in the world—we’ve embraced hosting even more. Especially at our cabin in the small hamlet of Narrowsburg, NY. It’s our happy place, and the heart of Cabin Cravings.
Jeff isn’t much of a cook, but he’s my ultimate taste tester, grocery runner, and designated sweeper-upper. He’s also endlessly amazed at how one recipe can create such a colossal mess. (I consider it a talent.)
Over the years, we’ve shared countless memories at the cabin—all centered around cozy, laid-back gatherings and really good food. And that’s exactly what you’ll find here.
